Winter 2006

Well, we finally have joined the current technology revolution and gotten ourselves a blog spot, which of course is happening because I am on track break and we decided to stay home rather than go anywhere. Merc is the one slaving away in the classroom now, he is subbing all over the place (in middle and high schools) but lately he has mainly been at Keller Middle School, not too far down the road. He is a blazing success in the classroom, he goes into rooms the average teacher fears to enter. A few students even like him, want to learn something and are tired of zoo life! But, really, he has an impressive record. Hated by a couple students, but mostly very well liked and he has even had a few students do their first work of the year for him. If we did a serious blog conversation spot it would have to be on the current education situation of the inmates running the asylum, but as we are more interested in the much more trivial issues of our pictures we will likely forego subjects of any serious nature here and stick to family events!
