Another beautiful day, we spent Monday walking around downtown Bamberg and seeing the sights. We went to visit Merc's old landlord and friend, Herr and Frau Rost. I tried some german potato ball with duck and gravy with the green vegetable mixture you put on meat in Germany. They have a hunting shop and have hunted animals in Africa and America besides of course Germany. The picture of Merc is in their garage with African buffalo heads and some gazelle animal. We then met up with Rob for coffee downtown in an outdoor cafe (Merc and I had ice cream- eis) to take advantage of the beautiful weather. That night with met up with Merc's old boss and friend Pislcajt and his wife for dinner. We then had coffee and Merc had ice cream (for the 3rd time today!) The night was beautiful so we walked home from downtown. Good thing we enjoyed the weather, it turned schlecht (rainy, overcast but not so cold) and has stayed that way ....
