We had a quick week in Chicago, Erikka & Lee had a birthday party for Joyce and Merc on Wed. their birthday, went to the museum of History and Shedd aquarium (where the most interesting tenant is the komodo dragon) visited a lot of friends and familz, some who hadn't seen Joyce since she was 3... we left Tues. so we were there exactly one week. We visited Cabrini, no longer anything like it was when Merc grew up there, most of the projects are gone and in their place are building suitable for yuppie land, Starbucks and the like. Much different from the days when walking down certain streets was life threatening! Lastly, of course we (Merc) had to have his Chicago pizza, with Lee, Erikka and Crystal at Gino's East.
